Nice Inc. and Reene's Renewable Energy Initiative

In a groundbreaking move towards sustainability, Nice Inc. of Yokohama, in collaboration with Reene, a Tokyo-based company, has announced the implementation of a renewable energy supply scheme starting from July 2026. The initiative leverages the FIT (Feed-In Tariff) specific wholesale system, a strategy designed to enhance the efficiency of renewable energy utilization.

Understanding the Initiative

This innovative scheme will utilize electricity generated from the solar power station located within Nice Inc.’s Kisarazu Logistics Center in Chiba Prefecture. The renewable energy produced will be paired with tracking FIT non-fossil certificates, which will validate its environmental value. Reene plans to supply this green electricity to various Nice facilities under its brand
