Official Photo Collection for SSTR2026 Set to Launch on March 19, 2026

Exciting Announcement: SSTR2026 Official Photo Book

The SSTR Executive Committee, based in Shibuya, Tokyo and led by Kazama Fumiki, has officially announced the release of the "SSTR2026 Official Photo Book." This announcement coincides with the opening of the online registration for the event, scheduled to begin on February 22, 2026.

The SSTR (Sunrise Sunset Touring Rally) is not just any adventure rally; it is an epic journey that starts at the Pacific coast at dawn and aims for the beautiful coastal area of Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture by sunset. The newly launched photo book, featuring approximately 250 pages of high-quality full-color images captured by professional photographers, encapsulates the exhilarating scenes and stories of the participating riders.

Changes in Sales Method

This year, there have been some significant changes in the sales method for the photo collection. Unlike previous years where orders could be placed simultaneously with event registrations, this year’s official photo book will exclusively be available for purchase through the "SSTR SHOP,” the official online store.

Details regarding pricing and cover design will be revealed in due course, so fans and participants are encouraged to stay tuned for further updates.

To purchase the official photo book, visit the official online store "SSTR SHOP" starting on March 19, 2026.

What is SSTR?

SSTR (Sunrise Sunset Touring Rally) is Japan’s largest motorcycle touring rally created by adventure motorcyclist Kazama Fumiki. Since its inception in 2013 with just 130 motorcycles, the event has transformed from a simple race of speed into a vibrant festival celebrating adventure and journey.

The rally's unique feature is its format that starts at dawn on Japan's eastern coast, where participants collect points by visiting designated waypoints set by an original GPS system before reaching the finish line at Chirin Wan, Noto Peninsula by sunset. The riders have the freedom to select their routes and start points, focusing on personal goals rather than just skill or rank. Each rider’s individual journey is passionately supported by local communities as well as various organizations and enterprises, which adds tremendous appeal to the event.
