Join Us at the Okayama University Synchrotron Light Utilization Workshop
Okayama University is set to hold an exciting workshop titled
Okayama University Synchrotron Light Utilization Workshop - Let's Utilize Synchrotron Light! on August 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This event will take place both in person at the 50th Anniversary Memorial Hall on the Tsushima Campus and online. The workshop aims to facilitate the use of synchrotron light through advanced analysis techniques available only at facilities like SPring-8 and NanoTerasu.
Overview of the Workshop
The workshop is organized by the Comprehensive Technical Department of Okayama University, headed by Vice President Yoshitomo Nasu. The collaboration with the High Brightness Synchrotron Radiation Research Center will be highlighted. Just recently, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed with the Kyushu Synchrotron Light Research Center (SAGA-LS), further enhancing our capabilities.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the analysis support services available at the synchrotron facilities, receive insights into advanced analysis methods, and see real-world applications of synchrotron light.
