SIOR Welcomes New Leaders for 2025-2026
On November 17, 2025, during its annual fall conference held in Louisville, Kentucky, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) proudly inducted its new leadership team for the 2025-2026 term. This organization is renowned as a global leader in commercial real estate, particularly for industrial and office brokerage.
The 2025-2026 SIOR Global President, Saadia Sheikh, who is not just an office specialist in Dallas and New York City but also the CEO and Founder of Powersense, marks a significant milestone by becoming the youngest female to hold the role. Her extensive experience since earning her SIOR designation in 2017 showcases her commitment and expertise in the field. Her leadership is anticipated to bring fresh perspectives to SIOR, enhancing its reputation as the leading voice in commercial real estate.
Following her, Aaron Barnard has taken the role of SIOR president-elect. Based in Minneapolis and representing Cushman Wakefield, he will hold this position for a year before taking over the presidency in the fall of 2026. In the position of vice-president, Daniel Smolensky follows suit and will also serve a term as president-elect, setting him up for presidency in 2027. Completing the previous leadership term, Mike Ohmes transitions into the role of immediate past president after a successful year as the 2024-2025 Global President.
The financial stewardship of SIOR will be in the capable hands of Scott Savacool, who will continue his second year in office as Global Treasurer. Working as a senior vice president at Colliers in Saint Louis, Savacool has been a dedicated SIOR member since 2011.
In addition to their leadership, a robust Board of Directors was established with the induction of several members for two-year terms. Among them are Rob Renaud of Toronto, dual specialist Damian Rivera of Frisco, Texas, and Diana Whisenant, focusing on industrial services in Cleveland, Ohio. Also continuing in their roles are Street Jones, Michael Feuerman, and Russell Patterson.
Further structure within SIOR will see James (Tripp) Guin serving as speaker of the Chapter Leadership Council, joined by Grant Pruitt, who will take on a speaker-elect role.
Regional leadership was also a key focus during the induction, with new regional directors appointed. Matthew Severns will provide leadership as the Central Regional Director from Kansas City, while Wills Elliman leads the Mid-Atlantic region from Wilmington, Delaware. Other newly appointed regional directors include Devin Ogden from Boise, Idaho for the Northwest region, Campbell Lewis in Greenville, South Carolina for the Southeast, and Andrew Creixell from Austin, Texas for the Southwest.
Experienced regional directors from the previous year continuing their service include Christopher Aquilina, Bronwyn Scrivens, Matthew Osowski, Jonathan Stravitz, Monty Warren, and Nancy Morse.
Lastly, SIOR has also designed positions for representation within its framework, with Allen Gump serving as the Past-Presidents Representative and Caitlin Mazaheri as the Young Professionals Representative.
