PHFA Celebrates Its Top Lending Partners for 2025



The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) recently held its annual Homeownership Awards event, honoring its top lending partners for the year 2025. This distinguished ceremony took place at the agency's headquarters in Harrisburg, where the remarkable contributions of various lenders in assisting families achieve the dream of homeownership in Pennsylvania were recognized.

This year, PHFA partnered with a network of 85 lenders who guided homebuyers through the critical processes of application, processing, and closing for affordable PHFA home loans. The collaborative efforts of these lenders have played an essential role in providing access to affordable housing across the Commonwealth, making a significant impact on many lives.

Achievements in 2025


In 2025, these lending partners collectively assisted 6,867 families in purchasing homes throughout Pennsylvania. The collaboration resulted in PHFA disbursing over $1.5 billion in loans, empowering countless individuals to turn their homeownership dreams into reality.

During the awards event, PHFA’s Executive Director and CEO, Robin Wiessmann, expressed deep appreciation for the efforts made by these lenders. She emphasized the critical role that lending partners play in facilitating affordable housing options and helping residents transition from renting to owning their homes. "Without our lending partners, PHFA couldn't accomplish its mission," Wiessmann stated. "They are instrumental in delivering opportunities for homeownership to our residents. We are proud to honor their outstanding achievements."
