Empowering Women Leaders: Suit UP's New Campaign for Enhanced Project Management
In a significant move to bolster the role of women in leadership positions, Suits Inc., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has introduced a campaign aimed at female managers who wish to enhance their team's task and project management capabilities. This initiative coincides with the launch of the beta version of their task management tool, Suit UP, which offers a 7-day free trial for users.
Campaign Overview
Running from May 2 to May 9, 2025, the ‘Women Leaders Support Campaign’ invites female managers to apply for a free consultation on implementing task management solutions in their companies. Only three selected companies that show interest and apply during this week will receive direct support from Yusuke Komatsu, CEO of Suits Inc. This campaign not only seeks to support women in executive roles but also aims to encourage businesses to realize the cost-saving benefits of effective task management.
According to internal simulations, a company with approximately 30 employees could incur costs as high as 1.19 million yen monthly if task progress checks between superiors and subordinates happen twice a day for eight minutes. By adopting a clearer task management approach, these costs can be significantly reduced.
Research by NuLab indicates a concerning trend in task management practices among smaller firms; the majority use personal organization tools like email (31.2%) or handwritten notes (30.6%), while only a mere 11.7% utilize dedicated task management software. This disparity highlights the challenge many businesses face and underscores the importance of adopting tailored solutions like Suit UP.
A Step Towards Gender Equality
In Japan's traditionally male-dominated workforce, promoting female leaders is a critical societal issue. Suit UP's campaign not only emphasizes the importance of women in leadership roles but also aims to foster a better understanding of adept task management within the business community. By equipping female managers with the necessary tools and knowledge, the initiative hopes to bridge the gender gap in leadership.
As Yusuke Komatsu reflects on the campaign, he emphasizes the broader goal of enhancing organizational productivity. “Encouraging women to step into leadership roles not only empowers them but also sets a precedent for future generations. We strive to simplify the task management process and thereby inspire these leaders to innovate,” he stated.
