Exploring the Future of Mining Finance at the 2026 SME Conference in New York

Strategic Resources Participates in SME Conference 2026

On May 20, 2026, Strategic Resources Inc. will take part in a critical panel discussion during the New York SME's 11th Annual Current Trends in Mining Finance Conference. The event runs from May 18-20, 2026, at AO Shearman's Conference Center in Midtown Manhattan, attracting leading figures in the mining finance sector. This year's theme centers around "Managing Risk and Identifying Opportunities in a Disrupted World."

The panel featuring Strategic Resources, titled "Canadian Vanadium and US Battery Technology: Cases for Military, Industrial, and Mining Equipment," aims to delve into financing, developing, and commercializing vital metals like vanadium that support emerging energy storage systems and heavy-duty electrification technologies. The session is scheduled for the afternoon of May 20, 2026, and will be moderated by Lisa Koch, a partner at AO Shearman Australia, with GJ la O', CEO of TYFAST Energy, participating as well.

This panel builds on the recent Memorandum of Understanding established on April 27, 2026, wherein Strategic Resources collaborates with TYFAST Energy Corp. to develop a Canadian vanadium-to-battery pathway targeted at heavy-duty electrification. The agreement explores utilizing battery-grade vanadium oxide sourced from Strategic's permitted Canadian mine within TYFAST's proprietary lithium vanadium oxide (LVO) anode technology, which has potential applications in mining equipment, auxiliary vehicles, and military defense platforms.

Further details on the conference can be viewed via the Current Trends in Mining Finance Agenda.
