Raythink Unveils Innovative Thermal Imaging Solutions for Fire Prevention at INTERSCHUTZ 2026
Raythink Technology is set to present its cutting-edge thermal imaging solutions designed for fire prevention during the INTERSCHUTZ 2026 exhibition in Hanover. Operating under the powerful theme of "Detecting Risk Zones Before Fire Spreads," the company highlights the crucial role of early fire detection technology.
Thermal imaging technology is pivotal for fire prevention, utilizing the infrared radiation emitted by all objects above absolute zero. This allows for the visualization of temperature differences, making it one of the premier methods for identifying potential fire hazards at their nascent stage. Raythink's advanced detection capabilities are further enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI) and multiple detection technologies, which collectively form a robust fire hazard identification system.
Key Technological Advancements
At the exhibition, Raythink will showcase its PC5 multispectral imaging cameras, specifically engineered to detect smoke and fires from distances exceeding 15 kilometers. Additionally, the TN460U-XT series can operate in extreme temperatures up to 220°C and monitor environments where temperatures can peak at 2,000°C. These innovative cameras are complemented by Raythink's VIS Patrol platforms, which provide real-time temperature monitoring and fire risk analysis.
As part of the larger movement towards proactive fire safety measures, Raythink emphasizes that their thermal imaging technology is already established in many real-world applications. One prominent area of focus is forest protection, where Raythink's systems have been deployed across extensive projects, covering over 1,000 square kilometers—equivalent to approximately 140,000 football fields. This deployment includes automated 360-degree surveillance carried out by their bispectral PTZ cameras, drastically reducing the need for manual inspections and significantly lowering fire risk.
In the industrial sector, Raythink’s thermal imaging devices ensure fire safety monitoring in manufacturing facilities, detecting equipment overheating, safeguarding storage areas, and preventing gas leaks. Notably, one significant application is in managing the thermal security of lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles, as detailed in a white paper released by Raythink earlier this year.
By targeting current hot spots such as industrial safety, forest protection, and critical infrastructure security, Raythink's solutions highlight the versatility and effectiveness of thermal imaging technology in modern fire prevention strategies.
