ENEOS and GEF1: Pioneering Synthetic Fuels Collaboration

This collaboration aims to assist in the introduction of synthetic fuels in the Japanese market while building an international value chain for low-carbon fuels. GEF1 plans to develop large-scale e-gasoline production facilities in Germany, utilizing green hydrogen and recovered CO₂. ENEOS has signed a supply agreement for e-gasoline as part of this collaboration, marking its first import of synthetic fuels into Japan. This deal not only signifies a crucial step in increasing the adoption of synthetic fuels in Japan but also represents GEF1's first export endeavor outside Europe, enhancing energy cooperation between Germany and Japan.
