From November 27, 2025, to February 2, 2026, join the annual delight of the Shimaenaga Café, hosted by Kotori Café Ueno. This café, based in Tokyo's Taito Ward, embraces the charm of small birds, allowing visitors to unwind with a cup of coffee while admiring the adorable shimaenaga (Japanese long-tailed tit). The event will feature original illustrations and merchandise by the renowned shimaenaga creator Piyo Techo, alongside popular products from Hokkaido. Plus, fans will be thrilled to hear that Piyo Techo's plush toys will return for sale starting December 1st!

The café will not only showcase delightful bird-themed menus but also a shopping experience featuring goods from popular shimaenaga influencer Boku, Shimaenaga. Enjoy unique dishes that include limited-time curry options — the Shimaenaga Winter Camp Curry, served on select days. Make sure to check the dates for availability!

Though reservations aren’t necessary, the café can get busy on weekends and holidays — it's best to book ahead. The café is located at 1-8-6, Ueno Sakuragi, Taito, Tokyo, and is open daily from 11 AM to 6 PM, except on certain specified days. The last order for meals is 5 PM, while drinks can be ordered until 5:30 PM.
