TPM Completes Strategic Sale of HP 3D Printing Business to Master Graphics
TPM, a prominent player in the manufacturing technology sector, has confirmed the successful sale of its HP 3D printing and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) divisions to Master Graphics, a leading partner in the HP 3D printing landscape in the United States. This strategic decision, announced on June 10, 2026, marks a significant shift for TPM, which aims to optimize its resources for its most promising growth areas.
In this transaction, not only was the HP 3D printing division transferred to Master Graphics, but also all associated AMT equipment. This acquisition means a seamless transition for TPM's existing customers, as all service agreements, customer contracts, and support services will now be managed by Master Graphics. Crucially, Jamie McGuire, who previously served as the primary account manager for TPM's HP 3D and AMT clientele, will follow the business to Master Graphics. This move is designed to ensure that customers continue to receive the quality service they have come to expect without any interruptions.
For customers previously under TPM’s wing, this transition to Master Graphics signifies a leap forward. Master Graphics boasts an extensive team of experts dedicated solely to HP 3D technologies, positioning them as a highly capable partner in the 3D printing sphere. “This is a great outcome for our HP 3D and AMT customers,” stated Chris Fay, President of TPM. “M5D is the best HP 3D partner in the country. For our customers, this handover not only reflects trust but also sets the stage for them to maximize their investments in technology.”
Kevin Carr, the President of Master Graphics, echoed these sentiments. He believes that combining TPM's customer base with their existing knowledge of HP 3D products will generate exceptional service quality. “We're genuinely excited about what this means for them,” Carr said.
Despite this notable divestiture, TPM does not step away from the 3D printing space entirely. The company remains engaged as an authorized partner for 3D Systems and Artec. Furthermore, TPM is channeling its efforts into developing core platforms, including SOLIDWORKS and DriveWorks reseller services, along with its ColorLab, conventional printing capabilities, and the TrebleHook and Hunley divisions within its CRM Solutions.
Such moves underline TPM's intent to concentrate vigorously on sectors where it can showcase its unique strengths, particularly in aiding manufacturing and Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firms in modernizing through innovative product design technologies and transformative business systems.
The completion of this sale signifies not only a period of transition for TPM but also a commitment to long-term growth through strategic partnerships. Investing in sectors where the company can excel will ultimately position TPM to innovate effectively in an ever-evolving market landscape. Customers can look forward to enhanced services and support as Master Graphics steps up to the opportunity, ensuring that the standards of excellence continue to rise for all involved.
