What sets Yayoi Ken’s preparation apart is that each fish is grilled to order, ensuring that diners experience the perfect crispiness of the skin and the rich taste of the fish, bursting with just the right amount of脂 (fat).

For those who want to elevate their meal, Yayoi Ken offers two additional options: the Grilled Sanma Set with Agedashi Eggplant for 1,190 yen and the Grilled Sanma Set with Mini Sukiyaki for 1,310 yen. The agedashi eggplant is coated and fried, served with a dipping sauce that highlights the umami of bonito and kombu, making it a perfect counterpart to the grilled sanma. On the other hand, the mini sukiyaki side is a sweet and savory dish that complements the meal beautifully, allowing diners to enjoy both meat and fish in one sitting.

Yayoi Ken’s grilled sanma can be enjoyed with traditional accompaniments like grated daikon radish and lemon for a refreshing touch.
