Connecting Regions through Edu-tainment Initiatives Revealed in Free Online Seminar

Discover the Beautiful Intersection of Art, Content, and Regional Revitalization through Edu-tainment

On July 17, 2026, Creek and River Co. (C&R) will present an online seminar titled "Art, Content, and Regional Revitalization Series Vol. 24: Building Potential Amid the Decline in Birth Rates—The Edu-tainment Business that Connects National Regional Producers." This socially conscious initiative aims at engaging local businesses, municipal officials, content creators, and those interested in revitalization efforts using art and educational content.

The growing interest in how culture and arts influence local identity necessitates a platform where concerns regarding the effectiveness of cultural policies can be frankly discussed. In light of recent challenges such as the difficulty in illustrating the outcomes of cultural policies and the significant knowledge gap among local officials and community members, C&R launched a series designed to bring together individuals keen to explore content proposals for local municipalities. The webinars feature guest speakers from diverse artistic backgrounds, allowing participants to delve into the details of formulating and evaluating effective cultural policies.

This particular volume will welcome Kazuhiko Kobayashi, CEO of Kids Project, which provides immersive "edu-tainment" experiences for children, combining both analog and digital methodologies. The seminar intends to showcase how edu-tainment can foster connections among regional producers across the country while addressing the challenges brought on by declining population figures. Participants will have the opportunity to hear firsthand examples of community projects designed to enliven local culture through engaging and interactive methods.

Combining expertise in planning, programming, design, and direction, the seminar’s framework intends to excite kids and their families with novel content development and event planning approaches. The audience can look forward to presentations and discussions where the guest will share case studies on how art initiatives have positively impacted their communities and the innovative strategies employed during proposal and execution phases.
