As the beautiful season of melons arrives, Lumine is excited to announce an extraordinary event—the Hokota Melon Fair! This delightful fair will run from May 25 to June 14, showcasing the finest melons sourced directly from Hokota City, an area renowned for producing Japan's highest melon yield.

The Fair's Highlights

Hokota City, located in Ibaraki Prefecture, boasts ideal weather and fertile soil that cultivate exceptionally sweet and aromatic melons. This year’s fair is set to break records with participation from 29 stores within the Lumine group, making it the largest melon fair to date. Attendees can expect to indulge in a variety of limited-time desserts and drinks featuring the gems of the event, the Ibaraking (green melon) and Quincy (orange melon). These melons, known for their rich flavor and texture, will make every dish a memorable experience.

Meet the Star Melons

- Ibaraking: A product unique to Ibaraki, this melon features a refreshing sweetness, thick and smooth flesh, and a delicate, juicy texture. Its delightful flavor profile makes it a top choice among melon enthusiasts.
- Quincy: This variety is distinguished by its vibrant orange flesh, offering a mellow sweetness that pairs perfectly with its smooth consistency. Quincy is sure to enchant anyone who tries it!
