FANCL Corporation is set to delight fans of the globally beloved characters, Doraemon and Dorami-chan, by launching an original web video on
August 19, 2025. This limited-time offering showcases the release of two popular cleansing products, namely the
Mild Cleansing Oil and its special edition
Black & Smooth variant, both adorned in exclusive designs featuring these characters.

Nationwide Cleansing Experience Events
Starting
August 20, 2025, FANCL will also kick off a series of hands-on cleansing experience events in various locations across Japan. These events, which celebrate the launch of the Doraemon limited design, will take place at popular venues including
Yokohama Takashimaya, Hakata Hankyu, Daimaru Umeda, and
Daimaru Kyoto. During these events, participants can engage in cleansing and makeup touch-up experiences, skin measurements, and have the opportunity to collect unique limited-edition merchandise that can’t be found elsewhere.

About Doraemon
Created by the legendary artist Fujiko F. Fujio,
Doraemon is a Japanese manga series that first debuted in
1970 in
Shogakukan’s learning magazines. The series has since celebrated milestones, including its
50th anniversary in 2020. The iconic television anime started airing in
1979, followed by the release of the first feature film,
Doraemon: Nobita’s Dinosaur, in
1980. By 2013, the series had captivated over
100 million viewers, solidifying its status as a cultural phenomenon.
The legacy continues as the
44th film in the series, titled
Doraemon: Nobita's Picture Book Story, is scheduled for release on
March 7, 2025. Embraced by both children and adults, Doraemon remains a significant part of Japanese pop culture, transcending generations through comics, anime, and movies.
