About Doraemon

Created by the legendary artist Fujiko F. Fujio, Doraemon is a Japanese manga series that first debuted in 1970 in Shogakukan’s learning magazines. The series has since celebrated milestones, including its 50th anniversary in 2020. The iconic television anime started airing in 1979, followed by the release of the first feature film, Doraemon: Nobita’s Dinosaur, in 1980. By 2013, the series had captivated over 100 million viewers, solidifying its status as a cultural phenomenon.

The legacy continues as the 44th film in the series, titled Doraemon: Nobita's Picture Book Story, is scheduled for release on March 7, 2025. Embraced by both children and adults, Doraemon remains a significant part of Japanese pop culture, transcending generations through comics, anime, and movies.
