Mitsubishi Estate and Shizuoka Gas Partner for Smart Home Solutions

Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. highlights its latest initiative in collaboration with Shizuoka Gas Co., Ltd. and mui Lab Co., Ltd. to enhance the presence of smart homes and energy management solutions in Japan. As part of this initiative, the smart home service "HOMETACT" provided by Mitsubishi Estate and the natural wood smart home controller "mui Board" from mui Lab will be permanently exhibited at the Energy Showroom Shizuoka, also known as "QUOLAB Shizuoka," starting April 15.

The QUOLAB Shizuoka allows visitors to engage directly with the HOMETACT app and mui Board, showcasing their smart home experiences. This space presents an opportunity to understand how these innovative solutions can transform quality of life. This model room is particularly significant as it marks the first time these smart home solutions are exhibited together in the Shizuoka region.

A Collaborative Foundation

The initiative is a result of a foundational agreement amongst Mitsubishi Estate, Shizuoka Gas, and mui Lab made in May 2024, which aims to implement a comprehensive approach to smart home technology. Mitsubishi Estate has been instrumental in supporting the integration of HOMETACT into the Energy Showroom and preparing for its retail introduction by Shizuoka Gas. By collaborating closely, the companies aim to demonstrate the advantages of HOMETACT in optimizing energy consumption and improving daily living.

Highlights of the Initiative

Display and Guidance of HOMETACT and mui Board

At the Energy Showroom Shizuoka, the permanent exhibition of HOMETACT and mui Board will commence, providing an engaging platform for potential users to navigate smart living technologies. Visitors will be able to control lighting, appliances, and home systems, and discover the benefits of energy monitoring through the HOMETACT Energy Window feature, emphasizing the importance of energy efficiency.

Upcoming Retail Plans by Shizuoka Gas

Along with the exhibition launch, Shizuoka Gas plans to offer HOMETACT for new homes and renovation projects starting in the summer of 2025. The collaboration between Shizuoka Gas and Mitsubishi Estate aims to create a seamless service experience from product proposal to installation and setup.
