Renxa Inc. Strengthens Its Foreign Talent Recruitment Efforts
Renxa Inc., based in Toshima, Tokyo, under the leadership of CEO Koji Sakamoto, is embarking on an ambitious new journey to enhance its recruitment of foreign talent. This initiative is in response to the growing needs brought about by Japan's demographic challenges, particularly the decreasing workforce resulting from the aging population and declining birthrate.
To address these challenges, Renxa has recently expanded its activities by visiting five universities in Vietnam: Duy Tan University, Da Nang University of Foreign Languages, Hue University of Foreign Languages, Saigon Technical College, and Ho Chi Minh City Open University. These visits are not just aimed at recruitment; they are also focused on building cooperative frameworks with these institutions to respond to the increasing demand for foreign human resources in various sectors in Japan.
Background and Purpose
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan’s total population stood at approximately 123.4 million as of April, with the working-age population (ages 15-64) decreasing to about 73.74 million. Meanwhile, the number of foreign residents in Japan reached historical highs, marking approximately 3.76 million at the end of the previous year, thus indicating the crucial role foreign talent plays in bolstering the domestic labor force.
In light of these demographics, Renxa has decided to introduce a new service named “Lifestyle Advisor Global,” scheduled to launch in January 2024. This service aims to support individuals relocating from overseas to Japan by providing personalized life support plans in their native languages, ensuring a smoother transition and addressing various concerns that may arise.
During the recent visits to the Vietnamese universities in May 2025, Renxa had the opportunity to introduce its business overview and career support initiatives to students majoring in Japanese who are keen to work in Japan. Each event saw attendance from around 20 to 30 students, who shared their candid concerns regarding the preparations necessary to work in Japan and their apprehensions about living conditions. These exchanges provided a valuable opportunity for mutual understanding and discourse. Renxa plans to welcome five interns and graduates by the end of 2025 and is committed to enhancing the infrastructure within the company for receiving foreign staff, as well as increasing support for housing and life foundations to ensure their comfort and stability.
This proactive approach is not merely about securing talent but also signifies a commitment to establishing long-term relationships through ongoing collaboration with local universities, ultimately working towards a society where foreign talents can thrive. Renxa aims to leverage insights gained from its experience with foreign employment to contribute to sustainable societal development and foster collaborative efforts with a global workforce.
