DAIKEN Launches Artio: A New Era in Flooring Designs

On August 21, DAIKEN Corporation, based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is excited to announce the release of Artio, a groundbreaking flooring product that employs a proprietary multicolor coating technology for the first time in the industry. Unlike traditional methods that involve applying veneer or decorative sheets to the base flooring, Artio is directly painted with high-resolution digital controls onto the base surface, vastly enhancing design flexibility.

This innovative manufacturing process enables the production of high-design flooring products like herringbone and parquet patterns, which were previously difficult to mass-produce due to technical limitations. In preparation for this launch, DAIKEN has invested around 800 million yen to establish a dedicated production line.
