Lucid Group Welcomes New Leaders

Lucid Group, Inc., known for its innovative software-defined vehicles, is taking significant strides to enhance its leadership structure. Recently, the company announced the appointments of three new executives, each of whom brings a wealth of experience to their respective roles. These moves are seen as pivotal for bolstering Lucid's commercial execution and financial discipline while fostering deeper customer engagement.

Strengthening Leadership with Proven Talent

Shawn Mirabal has stepped in as President of North America Commercial, bringing over 27 years of experience from the automotive sector. His previous roles at companies such as Nissan North America, FCA/Stellantis, and American Honda equip him with a strong foundation in retail and manufacturing. As COO of #1 Cochran Automotive Group, Mirabal honed his skills in aligning organizational transformations with on-the-ground execution, which will be invaluable for Lucid as it looks to enhance customer experiences across North America.

Mike Molino joins as Vice President of Finance, contributing over 20 years of financial leadership from the automotive industry, with his last position being CFO and COO at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development North America. Molino’s expertise will be crucial in refining Lucid's financial management, focusing on cost efficiency and operational transparency. With his hands-on experience, he will surely play a key role in connecting Lucid's operational decisions with overall financial performance.

Angela Zepeda comes aboard as Vice President of Global Marketing, leveraging her 25 years of experience to transform Lucid's brand presence. Prior to joining Lucid, Zepeda led marketing at Hyundai Motor America and served as Global Head of Marketing at xAI. Her extensive background in integrating marketing strategies with product and sales efforts will drive Lucid’s initiatives to boost customer engagement and brand visibility.

Commitment to Growth and Excellence

Silvio Napoli, the CEO of Lucid, expressed his enthusiasm regarding these appointments, emphasizing the importance of intuitive leadership in modern business. He noted, “We continue to strengthen our leadership team with executives who bring deep experience and a proven track record of execution.” This new team will focus on three business fundamentals: cash and cost efficiency, customer-centric quality, and building a strong company culture.

Each new leader will report to members of the executive team: Mirabal and Zepeda will report to Chief Customer Officer Billy Hayes, while Molino will work with CFO Alexander De Bock. This organizational structure aims to ensure cohesive teamwork and collective accountability, which are critical as Lucid embarks on its next phase of growth.

A Glimpse into the Future

As Lucid Group continues to innovate, its enhancements within the leadership structure aim to create not just exceptional vehicles, but also exceptional customer experiences. By refining operational processes and enhancing financial oversight, the company positions itself favorably in the competitive automotive market.

The ongoing commitment to improvement reflects Lucid's determination to not only meet but exceed the expectations of its customers, stakeholders, and employees. With these new leaders at the helm, Lucid Group looks set to drive the future of mobility forward significantly.
