XCMG Machinery, a global leader in construction machinery, is taking significant steps to deepen its connections in South America, highlighted by a recent visit from Chairman Yang Dongsheng to Brazil. During this visit, Yang met with Brazilian President Lula at the Presidential Palace, alongside key political figures, to discuss the company's future initiatives in the region. President Lula commended XCMG for over a decade of contributions regarding industrial upgrades, energy efficiency, and digital transformation, further expressing support for establishing a research institute to enhance cooperative efforts.

As Yang elaborated on the company's strategic shift, he emphasized the transition from mere trade to fostering intelligence-focused initiatives, digital advancements, and global connectivity. XCMG aims to prioritize high-end, green, and localized growth that drives development through talent cultivation and innovation. Both the Brazilian government and XCMG agreed to explore new cooperation avenues in research development, finance, talent training, and sustainable mining practices.

In a meeting in Brasília, Yang also engaged with the Chinese ambassador to reflect on XCMG's impactful two-decade presence in Brazil. The ambassador acknowledged XCMG's role in strengthening economic ties and cultural exchange between China and Brazil, pledging support for further cooperation among Chinese enterprises in various industrial sectors.

During his visit, Chairman Yang inspected XCMG's Brazilian base and industrial park. Established over 13 years, this facility has evolved into a modern hub for global operations, becoming home to China's first overseas manufacturing and banking enterprise. Yang noted the importance of ongoing production improvements, digital upgrades, and comprehensive talent development. Meetings with local employees, clients, and dealers further emphasized XCMG's commitment to localization and sustainable practices through green mining, intelligent management, and tailored customer solutions.

In São Paulo, XCMG participated in the 'Brasil Produtivo' event, collaborating with industry leaders and government officials to discuss high-quality growth in the construction machinery sector. Officials expressed admiration for XCMG's contribution to local development and its role in China-Brazil partnerships. Following his engagements in Brazil, Chairman Yang visited Chile, Argentina, and Peru to fortify local partnerships. Moreover, XCMG secured substantial contracts for its cranes at the renowned Chuquicamata copper mine, utilizing cutting-edge equipment designed for efficient and stable operations even in challenging environments.
