BOE and UNESCO Forge Strong Partnerships for Sustainable Science and Education

In a concerted effort to drive sustainable development in science, BOE Technology Group recently participated in two significant events hosted by UNESCO in Paris and Namibia. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment as BOE becomes the first Chinese tech firm to support the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (2024-2033), aiming to leverage innovative strategies for a better future.

Establishing Governance Through Dialogue in Paris

On December 2, 2025, during a Futures Workshop at UNESCO headquarters, BOE’s Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, Si Da, represented the company as the sole industry voice from China. This workshop, themed "Shaping the Futures of Science," focused on the crucial role of the upcoming International Decade in redefining scientific impact over the next 25 years. Participants acknowledged that meaningful advances in science derive from a carefully crafted long-term vision that translates into effective, sustainable strategies. Si Da emphasized the need for turning foresight into actionable investments, stating that corporate social responsibility must be woven into the core of organizational innovation. BOE’s integrated sustainability strategy encompasses various initiatives, including educational charities, the establishment of net-zero factories, and the application of digital technologies to foster cultural preservation.

Advancing Innovation Across Africa Through STEM Education

Continuing its commitment to sustainability, BOE expanded its partnership with UNESCO by supporting the launch of the African Science Clubs Network in Namibia on December 5, 2025. This initiative aims to connect science clubs throughout Africa, fostering an inclusive innovation community that facilitates resource sharing and inspires youth engagement in science. Following the success of the "Windows to STEM" initiative in Kenya, the establishment of this network is a strategic move to promote inclusivity in science, aligning with the goals of the International Decade.

To encourage participation, BOE announced the Science Club Challenge 2026, where the winners will receive eco-friendly smart learning devices, such as tablets powered by sustainable technology developed by BOE. This initiative underlines BOE’s continuous support for Africa's burgeoning innovation ecosystem and reinforces its sustainability brand message, "Open Next Earth" (ONE).

From significant dialogues in Paris to practical initiatives in Africa, BOE exemplifies a commitment to sustainable global engagement as a technology leader. By contributing foresight and action toward global governance and fostering regional innovation, BOE stands as a testament to the role of corporations in promoting a more inclusive, sustainable future. The company remains dedicated to collaborating with UNESCO and other international partners as it seeks to build a brighter future through science and education.
