MSGM Unveils New Store in Shinjuku Takashimaya

On April 11, 2025, Italian fashion label MSGM will officially open its latest location at Shinjuku Takashimaya, a major shopping destination in Tokyo. This new store promises to bring a unique blend of Italian flair and creativity to the vibrant Tokyo fashion scene.

The latest collections showcased at the MSGM Shinjuku Takashimaya store include the Men's Spring/Summer 2025 line, the Women's Spring/Summer 2025 collection, and an exclusive Women’s Resort 2025 collection. These collections are particularly significant as they commemorate MSGM's 15th anniversary. Each piece reflects the personal relationship of Creative Director Massimo Giorgetti with the sea, inspired by his home in Liguria, Italy.

Giorgetti describes his vision with the theme “The Sea and I,” stating that it embodies a new perspective and appreciation for life, drawing from the natural beauty surrounding him. This inspiration transforms into unique fabric narratives, making every piece in the collection not just clothing but a story woven into textiles.

Among the standout items are those created in collaboration with British artist and designer Luke Edward-Hall, known for his eclectic yet sophisticated style. Giorgetti expresses how Hall's romantic and dreamy vision perfectly aligns with MSGM’s energetic and vibrant ethos. The collaboration features pieces such as a knitted vest priced at ¥79,200, a shirt at ¥89,100, and a large tote bag at ¥72,600.

In addition to the collaboration lines, the new store will also offer popular items like the cat-themed T-shirt for ¥47,300 and a spacious tote bag suitable for laptops for ¥57,200. A logo T-shirt priced at ¥49,500 is also among the fresh arrivals, ensuring that there’s something appealing for every fashion enthusiast.

To celebrate the grand opening, MSGM will gift customers an original tote bag with every purchase of ¥33,000 or more (while supplies last).
