Seminar Overview
In an era marked by globalization, inheritance matters that cross international borders are becoming increasingly common. Recognizing this trend, Tsujihongo Tax Accountants is set to hold an informative web seminar titled "Understanding the Basics of International Inheritance Law: Focus on Singapore" starting from September 9, 2025.
Why This Seminar Is Important
Inheritance cases involving multiple countries require a solid understanding of diverse legal systems, especially because laws regarding inheritance differ significantly from one nation to another. In Japan, sticking to domestic protocols may not suffice when dealing with estates that span across international jurisdictions. This seminar aims to elucidate the inheritance system in Singapore, a hub where numerous Japanese expatriates reside, comparing its framework with Japanese inheritance law.
