Kimberly-Clark Foundation Awards 30 Bright Futures Scholarships



On May 22, 2025, Kimberly-Clark Corporation proudly announced the recipients of its Bright Futures college scholarships, a program that has positively impacted the lives of high school students for over three decades. This year, 30 deserving high school seniors from across North America, all children of Kimberly-Clark employees, were honored for their outstanding academic achievements, exemplary leadership qualities, significant work experience, and active participation in extracurricular activities.

The Bright Futures program, now in its 33rd year, is designed to provide substantial financial assistance for students who are pursuing higher education. Recipients can benefit from scholarships totaling up to $20,000, with an annual allocation of $5,000 for those enrolled full-time at accredited colleges and universities. Since its inception, the program has successfully distributed nearly $50 million in scholarships to more than 2,400 students, emphasizing Kimberly-Clark's commitment to fostering the leaders of tomorrow.

Kurt Laufer, the Interim President of Kimberly-Clark North America, expressed pride in the scholarship recipients, stating, "The Bright Futures scholarship program exemplifies our commitment to developing the next generation of leaders. These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their studies and communities, and we are proud to support their journey toward academic and professional success. This year's scholarship class boasts an impressive average GPA of 3.98. The awardees are set to pursue their academic endeavors at prestigious institutions, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Wheaton College, Georgia Institute of Technology, and the University of Wisconsin. Previous scholarship recipients have paved successful career paths in various fields, including medicine, education, military service, and engineering, demonstrating the diverse impact of Kimberly-Clark's investment in education.
