Multifonds Partners with DBS to Advance Scalable Automation in Asset Management

Multifonds and DBS: A Collaborative Journey Towards Automation

In a significant development in the field of asset management, Multifonds has officially partnered with DBS, the largest bank by assets in Southeast Asia. This strategic collaboration aims to streamline and automate fund accounting processes, driving scalable growth in asset management within the region.

Launching a Comprehensive Solution

On November 5, 2025, Multifonds announced the successful implementation of its Fund Accounting Platform across key markets, including Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, and Indonesia. This initiative was realized in less than fifteen months through a dedicated joint effort between teams from DBS and Multifonds. The platform serves as a unified solution that accommodates both traditional and alternative funds, enabling DBS to enhance its operations significantly.

The fully automated solution integrates critical functions such as asset management, position keeping, valuation, and accounting. By deploying this technology, DBS can improve its end-to-end processes and achieve high straight-through processing (STP) rates. This advancement not only increases service quality but also supports customer growth in some of the most dynamically evolving markets in Asia.

Innovations in Operational Efficiency

DBS is now the first bank in Asia to utilize the latest version of the Multifonds platform. One of the notable features of this platform is the Workflow and Exception Manager (WEM), which has been tailored to significantly boost operational efficiency. Furthermore, by integrating fund accounting and transfer agency systems, DBS can optimize its Net Asset Value (NAV) process.

During the selection phase, Multifonds underwent a rigorous evaluation process by DBS, which included a detailed proof of concept. This evaluation highlighted the platform's ability to navigate the unique challenges of various markets, showcasing its genuine multi-asset coverage. The platform encompasses complex derivatives in credit, forex, interest, equity, ETFs, and private equities, accommodating a spectrum of fund structures and requirements.

Enhancing Compliance and Market Adaptability

Multifonds is not merely a technological provider but also actively contributes to shaping regulatory reports tailored to the fast-changing Indonesian market. This cooperation ensures that reports remain relevant and compliant with the latest regulatory updates, thus enabling DBS and its clients to stay ahead of developments within the financial landscape.

Oded Weiss, CEO of Multifonds, expressed enthusiasm about being selected as the fund accounting platform for such a prestigious global bank. He emphasized that DBS has built an esteemed reputation in fund services, and Multifonds’ advanced technology will empower the bank to offer flexible, client-centric solutions with unparalleled scalability and efficiency.

As the partnership progresses, Multifonds looks forward to further enhancing DBS Securities Services’ technological capabilities and developing new features to meet the evolving demands of other Asian markets.
