Pritzker Military Museum to Celebrate Liberty Bash
The Pritzker Military Museum & Library (PMML) in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is set to host its first-ever Liberty Bash on November 8, 2025. This momentous event will honor the recipients of the 2025 Founder's Award: CAPT Chris Cassidy (USN Retired), COL Harvey C. "Barney" Barnum Jr. (USMC Retired), and Major General Brian Winski (USA Retired). These distinguished individuals have significantly contributed to the mission of the PMML, particularly in preserving the rich legacy of the Citizen Soldier.
Colonel (IL) Jennifer N. Pritzker, the founder of the museum, expressed her pride in honoring such accomplished recipients. "The notable accomplishments of each of our honorees embody what it means to be a Citizen Soldier," she stated. This award is designed to recognize extraordinary individuals or organizations whose efforts resonate with the museum's commitment to military heritage.
The Liberty Bash will also coincide with the 250th anniversary celebrations of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and all branches that proudly serve within the United States military. This convergence of events signifies not only the recognition of individual achievement but also the collective dedication to honoring the sacrifices made by servicemen and women throughout history.
Scott English, the President and CEO of PMML, emphasized the importance of this occasion. "This event helps us build programs connecting Wisconsin to our nation's military story and ensures that lessons of service and sacrifice continue inspiring generations to come," he remarked. The Liberty Bash serves as an opportunity for the community to engage with and celebrate the profound impact of military service in America.
