IWS Expands Capabilities with Tetrasolv Acquisition for Advanced Water Treatment Solutions

IWS Expands Capabilities with Tetrasolv Acquisition

In an exciting development for the water treatment industry, Integrated Water Services, Inc. (IWS) has announced the acquisition of Tetrasolv Filtration. Based in Austin, Texas, IWS stands out as a leader in modular wastewater treatment and reuse systems, bringing a wealth of expertise to the growing water management sector. This strategic acquisition is set to bolster IWS's existing capabilities, integrating Tetrasolv's specialized filtration and mobile media services into its operational framework.

The acquisition aims to redefine the lifecycle of water, combining Tetrasolv's advanced purification technologies with IWS's comprehensive turnkey solutions. This comes on the heels of IWS's recent purchase of Complete Filtration Resources, which further diversified its portfolio into the dairy, food, and beverage markets. With these acquisitions, IWS is positioning itself as a formidable technology powerhouse, particularly for industrial and municipal clients looking for sophisticated treatment solutions.

Cody Phipps, CEO of IWS, expressed enthusiasm regarding the acquisition, stating, "We aim to deliver modular, scalable solutions that add economic value to our clients. As environmental regulations tighten, clients in the mid-market are increasingly seeking advanced, reliable treatment technologies. By merging Tetrasolv’s expertise in media filtration with our own technologies, we are poised to revolutionize water management and reuse practices. This will not only benefit our customer's operational costs but also contribute positively to the environment."

The chairman of IWS, Tom Rooney, added that the addition of Tetrasolv's offerings enhances the company’s ability to provide recurring revenue services, establishing a more diversified solutions provider in a market that is often underserved. The merger comes at an opportune time of rapid growth for Tetrasolv, as demand for its core services—especially in PFAS remediation—has surged. IWS’s existing infrastructure and capital will enable Tetrasolv to scale its operations effectively, meeting the needs of its expanding clientele.

Doug Dallmer, President of Tetrasolv, commented on the advantages of this partnership, stating, "Our clients will continue to benefit from our dedicated team for rentals and engineered treatment systems, which will now be complemented by IWS’s robust capabilities. Together, we can offer greater design-building services and nationwide support to our customers."

Following the acquisition, Tetrasolv will operate as a subsidiary of IWS, maintaining its manufacturing headquarters in Anderson, Indiana, with additional service centers located in Texas, Florida, and Pennsylvania. This cohesive integration is aimed at accelerating the deployment of sustainable water reclamation and environmental remediation solutions across the United States.

The transaction was officially completed on June 22, 2026, and marks a significant shift in how water is managed and reused in industrial applications. IWS, supported by its parent company Sciens Water, continues to lead in providing innovative water and wastewater solutions characterized by the lowest Total Cost of Ownership.
