Mayfair Gold Reports Positive Outcomes from Grade Control Drilling
Mayfair Gold Corp. is excited to share positive results from its Grade Control (GC) drilling program at the Fenn-Gib Project. This initiative, which evaluates approximately 1 million tonnes of probable mineral reserves from its recent Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), reinforces the company’s faith in its early-stage production plans.
The GC program, conducted in late 2025, aimed to ensure the continuity and distribution of mineralization in preparation for future mining. With more than 56 diamond drill holes completed to a depth of 75 meters, the findings indicate a strong correlation between the mineral reserve model and actual field results.
Key Findings of the GC Drilling Program
The highlights of the GC program show that:
- - The GC model achieved results that were nearly identical to the reserve model, showcasing about a 2% increase in contained gold, particularly significant for higher-grade findings.
- - An encouraging 28% increase in tonnes was noted at a higher grade of 7% compared to previous estimates, especially for material with grades exceeding 3.0 g/t Au.
- - The data instills confidence in securing high-grade gold feed for the early years of production and supporting better cash flow forecasts.
