HUAWEI Opéra Hosts GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity in Paris

On December 16, 2024, HUAWEI brought together creativity and technology at its flagship Opéra store in Paris with the GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity. Led by talented illustrators Mayada and Kenza, this event aimed to showcase the potential of digital art and the accessibility of artistic expression using the GoPaint application on HUAWEI's MatePad series tablets.

A Creative Experience for Participants

During the event, thirty enthusiastic participants delved into the world of digital art alongside the illustrators. They learned various drawing techniques and utilized the GoPaint app to create unique artworks. Each participant left with a personalized souvenir - their artwork printed on a tote bag, encapsulating their creative experiment. Beyond just the drawing experience, attendees had the chance to test the latest HUAWEI MatePad tablets and explore the GoPaint application's extensive features, immersing themselves in the realm of digital creativity.

Discovering GoPaint

GoPaint is a powerful and intuitive digital painting application available on HUAWEI tablets. It boasts over 150 preset brushes and more than 80 customizable settings, allowing users to create art that feels as natural as traditional methods. The app's brush dynamics mimic the effect of pencil strokes on paper, fostering an immersive painting experience. Notably, the innovative brushes such as Splatter and Fluid unlock unlimited creative possibilities. For instance, using the Splatter brush, users can create ink splash effects by deftly interacting with the tablet's screen, making the drawing process playful and engaging.

The application also features realistic textures that resemble paper, gold silk, rice paper, and stone, enhancing the authentic feeling of creating art on varied surfaces. With the FangTian Painting Engine 2.0, users can work on ultra-wide canvases with 8K resolution, multiple high-resolution layers, and a frame rate of 120 frames per second, ensuring a smooth and high-quality creative process.

Embracing Creativity in Every Detail

The goal of GoPaint is to reveal the artist within every individual, empowering everyone to create digital art using various canvases and brushes, whether it be with ink, oils, or watercolors. Throughout the event, each participant had the opportunity to test the GoPaint app on the latest HUAWEI tablets, including the MatePad Pro 12.2 and the MatePad 12X, which both feature the cutting-edge PaperMatte display technology. This display mimics the experience of creating and enjoying content on paper, providing a pleasant and authentic creative process.

Since 2020, HUAWEI's Opéra Paris flagship store has been a symbol of the brand's commitment to offering new experiences to its customers. In addition to the GoPaint event, the store hosts various exclusive meetings, including digital art workshops using GoPaint, photo sessions with HUAWEI's XMAGE technology, and sports events with the brand's international ambassador, Sir Mo Farah. By combining this iconic location with HUAWEI's technological innovations, the brand continues to fulfill its mission by offering unique opportunities that intertwine art, photography, sports, and wellness.

HUAWEI Opéra not only delivers memorable experiences but also provides comprehensive post-sale services for its products. A special service desk operates from Monday to Saturday, where staff are ready to assist interested visitors and address their inquiries.
