The 17th Minish Course Concludes Successfully: A Leap Forward for Japanese Dentistry

Overview of the 17th Minish Course

The recently concluded 17th Minish Course has successfully attracted considerable attention in the Japanese dental community. This event marked a significant milestone as it saw the cumulative number of participants rise to 434, including 407 dentists and 27 dental hygienists. The course not only focused on theoretical knowledge but also emphasized two groundbreaking changes that have captivated dental professionals considering the implementation of Minish services in their practices.

Efficient Joint Training for Dentists and Hygienists

For the first time, the course incorporated a training system where dentists and dental hygienists participated together as a team. This joint educational approach offered an unparalleled level of practical learning, enabling participants to seamlessly integrate their skills in actual dental procedures. During the training, dentists handled preparations and placements, while hygienists focused on assisting tasks. Such practical exercises allowed participants to immerse themselves in a realistic clinical environment, fostering a deeper understanding of the necessary clinical know-how.

A representative from Minish Technology emphasized the impressive efficiency of this program, stating that learning together allows the time from course completion to commencement of Minish treatments to be reduced by more than a month. This rapid transition means that patients in Japan could potentially receive high-quality Minish treatments just over a month after a practice decides to adopt the system.

Fast Track Support for Committed Providers

In a bid to improve the quality and accessibility of the course, the eligibility was limited to dental practices already contracted as MINISH Providers. This strategic adjustment eliminated waiting times, ensuring that those who were serious about implementing Minish solutions could begin training without delay. Previously, the accepted participants regardless of their contract status, leading to delays for committed practices to attend the sessions.

This change has resulted in a robust support system from headquarters, enabling dentists who decided to implement Minish solutions to develop these systems in the shortest possible time within Japan.

Building a Global Network for Dental Professionals

Completing the Minish course has become a prerequisite for incorporating the Minish repair solutions in patient care. Approximately 70% of this cohort hailed from dental practices within Tokyo, with 32 dentists and 27 hygienists successfully completing the program.

In a notable moment, Dr. Taichi Shimazaki, the director of Ashikaga Adult & Children Dental Clinic, delivered a special lecture based on real clinical cases, showcasing how implementing Minish can unveil new success visions and competitive advantages for practices in Japan.

The graduation ceremony was not merely an academic affair; it transformed into a major networking event attended by around 100 participants, comprising graduates, Korean providers, and instructors. This gathering served as an invaluable opportunity for pioneering dentists from Japan and Korea to exchange the latest knowledge and discuss practical business strategies.

Growing Global Demand and Rapid Expansion

The forthcoming October edition of the Minish course has already reached full capacity, signaling a rapid global growth in MINISH Providers across various countries. Currently, there are 53 locations in Japan, 43 in South Korea, 9 in the United States, and 1 in Canada, totaling 106 rapidly expanding locations worldwide. The impressive worldwide response has made the anticipated 100-participant global course in October filled to capacity.

As Minish solidifies its position as the standard for next-generation dental treatments, competition among advanced dental practices to adopt these innovative solutions is expected to escalate even further in the coming months.
