JQA World Children's Drawing Contest Exhibition at Pietro Restaurant in Kunitachi, Tokyo

Celebrating Young Talent: JQA World Children’s Drawing Contest Exhibition

From February 2 to March 30, 2026, the esteemed Pietro Restaurant located in Kunitachi, Tokyo, will host the exhibition of the outstanding works from the 25th JQA World Children’s Drawing Contest. This event is a unique opportunity for art lovers and environmental advocates to appreciate the creativity and visions of children from around the globe.

The contest, initiated in 1999 and organized by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) alongside the International Certification Network (IQNET), has consistently aimed to engage children in discussions about environmental issues through art. This year’s theme, “Let’s Listen to the Voice of the Earth,” inspired a remarkable number of submissions: 9,907 entries from 72 countries and regions. The exhibition will feature 26 outstanding pieces that capture the essence of this message.

The JQA World Children’s Drawing Contest is supported by UNICEF Tokyo and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This year marks the first time JICA has offered its assistance, reinforcing the contest's goal of promoting awareness of environmental issues among youth through artistic expression. The selected artworks resonate with poignant messages and highlight the children's perspectives on preserving our planet.

At the exhibition, visitors can enjoy delicious meals at Pietro Restaurant while exploring these significant artworks. The restaurant is conveniently located and offers an inviting atmosphere for families and art enthusiasts.
