Applications are currently open for various recording dates spanning from June to September 2023, with sessions conducted in Tokyo.

Project Overview

'Reiwa's Tiger' is a spin-off channel of the existing program 'Reiwa Tiger,' where five business professionals—referred to as 'Tigers'—evaluate candidates for potential employment. This unique project allows applicants to present their abilities and stand out from the crowd. Instead of a traditional interview process, participants will have the chance to showcase their personalities and unique attributes, making a personal pitch for the Tigers to consider.

Recording Schedule

• - June 25 (Wednesday)
• - July 30 (Wednesday)
• - August 27 (Wednesday)
• - September 24 (Wednesday)

These sessions will be held at selected venues in Tokyo, creating an accessible platform for all interested job seekers.

How It Works

Participants aiming to secure an offer from one of the Tigers must demonstrate their appeal through effective presentations. Each Tiger will decide based on three outcomes:
1. Offer a salary
2. Conditional employment offer
3. Decline to hire
If multiple Tigers extend job offers, candidates will have the liberty to select from the available options, allowing for the best fit for their aspirations.

Why 'Reiwa's Tiger'?

This project is designed to challenge traditional employment landscapes. Unlike conventional hiring practices that often focus on educational background or work history, 'Reiwa's Tiger' prioritizes enthusiasm and character over credentials. By highlighting the essential qualities often overlooked in job applications, the show offers a refreshing approach to recruitment. Here, individuals attempting to transition into new careers, seek employment, or even embark on internal entrepreneurship can convey their potential in their own words, making engaging presentations to the Tigers.

Experience and Leadership

The initiative is led by Seiichi Sakakibara, who hails from Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Sakakibara's academic journey began at Tokyo University of Science, followed by a master's program focusing on mechanical engineering, where he engaged in web-based research. In 2009, he began his professional career as a network engineer at CyberAgent and later made a mark as a web analyst in the social gaming industry.

In 2015, he took a leap forward by establishing EMOLVA, a social media marketing company, where he serves as CEO. Under his guidance, the firm has provided services to over 500 companies ranging from startups to large enterprises, including local governments and even national entities.

A Seasoned Influencer

Having amassed more than 500,000 followers on social media, Sakakibara's influence extends into influencer marketing, enabling partnerships with over 1.4 million influencers and more than 10,000 general monitors. His strategic engagements include collaborations with various entertainment agencies and talent, lending to comprehensive marketing strategies.

Community Engagement

Beyond his business endeavors, Sakakibara is actively involved in various community efforts. In 2021, he joined the Tokyo Young Men's Association, where he plays an instrumental role in communication and branding committees. Recently, he also joined the Tokyo Korean Young Entrepreneurs Association and continues to expand his reach across different platforms, including YouTube programs such as 'Income Auction' and 'Reiwa's Tiger.'
