TAICHI TOTANI was born in South Africa and grew up in Germany and Japan. His quest for self-expression led him to explore various cultures and artistic forms. After completing his studies at Keio University, he ventured into the finance and luxury sectors, eventually developing the Wabi-Sabi Luxury philosophy that merges the beauty of nature with the essence of time.

In 2024, he founded TAIZAN, embarking on a journey as both an artist and creative director. His vision seeks to expand the boundaries of expression by drawing from nature, time, and the unintentional beauty of various materials, creating an intricate web of cultural crossover that spans Milan, Paris, Dubai, New York, and beyond.
