Six Years in the Making



The development process for this collection was extensive, taking six years and involving 179 trial formulations. The team carefully crafted each drink from musts and sparkling wines sourced from Mendoza, a renowned high-altitude terroir celebrated for its ideal growing conditions. They meticulously tested various recipes that incorporated fresh fruits, herbs, and spices to extract rich flavors through a slow maceration process. Ingredients like organic lemons, Patagonian raspberries, hibiscus, and lemon verbena were selected for their ability to elevate the drinks.

What’s particularly noteworthy is the innovative approach in the lower-alcohol offerings. The team managed to create delicious cocktails without dealcoholizing processes, utilizing early-harvested Muscat grapes that naturally contain lower sugar levels. The fermentation was strategically halted at 5.5% alcohol content, complemented by the infusion of natural aromas, resulting in a flavorful Spritz with a refreshing quality.

The CHANDON Spritz Orange Peel & Spices will be accessible across Europe at various wine merchants, bars, restaurants, and outdoor terraces. As a special preview, consumers in France can find the Lemon Verbena and Berries Hibiscus flavors during the celebrated Roland-Garros Tournament and via online retail platforms. The pricing is set at €19.90 at wine merchants, with glasses offered at €12–13, and bottle prices in restaurants ranging from €49–59.
