2026 Spring RELO CLUB Corporate Golf Championship

On April 25, 2026, the all-new nationwide finals of the RELO CLUB All-Japan Corporate Golf Tournament, known as the "Recruit CUP 2025 Spring Team Competition," took place at the Grand Fields Country Club in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Presented by RELO CLUB, a subsidiary of the Relo Group (Stock Code: 8876), this prestigious event is recognized as one of Japan's largest corporate golf tournaments.

This year's tournament saw perfect weather conditions that promised excellent scores. However, participants faced challenges due to the superb condition of the greens, which featured rapid speed and undulations. Out of the 40 corporate teams (totaling 159 participants) that made it to the finals, only 23 players managed to score in the 70s, indicating a notably competitive atmosphere.

Ultimately, Kaga Electronics, the champions of the 2020 tournament, triumphed once again with a team score of 223, securing their second championship title. Their performance demonstrated their solid teamwork and depth of talent as they thrived in the final round.

Strong Performance Under Pressure

Since winning the spring tournament in 2020, Kaga Electronics had consistently reached national finals but faced near misses in achieving top rankings. Their recent performance in the 2025 Summer Tournament was disappointing, with their two teams finishing 20th and 41st. However, this time, Kaga Electronics showcased their formidable team strength. With key contributors like Kobuta scoring 74, Miyagawa and Otsuka both posting 76, and Kazon contributing an 81, all members secured stable scores. In a display of remarkable consistency, any three of the four players’ scores would have clinched victory for them.

This impressive performance not only highlighted their capabilities but also raised anticipation for their endeavors in the upcoming summer championship.

Individual Competition Thrills

In the individual competition, there was fierce competition leading to exciting changes in leaderboard rankings. Yuuta Furukawa from Mizuno Corporation achieved a stunning comeback victory, clinching his first title by finishing just one stroke ahead. He started strong with a 37 and maintained his momentum with two birdies and two bogeys for a back nine of 36, ultimately allowing him to secure the victory. His achievement also boosted his team to a commendable fourth place, qualifying them for next year's national finals.
