Rokid, a global leader in AI-based smart glasses, made its debut at VivaTech 2026, one of the premier innovation events worldwide, held in Paris. This year, the company also participated in the Champs-Élysées Showcase to celebrate the 10th anniversary of VivaTech. Through this event, Rokid showcased the synergy of its open AI ecosystem with its smart glasses, aiming to enhance productivity in everyday life.

Among the highlights were Rokid’s flagship products: the Rokid Glasses, featuring Micro-LED displays, and the Rokid Ai Glasses Neo, which are screenless glasses. These devices leverage advanced features, including real-time translation in 89 languages, transcription, and visual search capabilities through various AI assistants, making them available in over 100 countries, including France.

In a significant move to promote accessibility to technology, Rokid announced a partnership with Krys, a leading optical retailer in France. This collaboration aims to broaden the availability of Rokid’s product range in retail stores, enhancing the accessibility of these smart glasses while also offering support related to prescription lenses. This partnership strengthens Rokid’s distribution networks throughout Europe, laying the groundwork for its future development in the region.

Furthermore, consumers can now find Rokid Glasses at major French distributors, including Fnac, Darty, and Cdiscount, with Boulanger expected to join soon. The strategic decision to make these cutting-edge glasses widely available is indicative of Rokid's commitment to making smart technology a part of daily living.

Zoro Shao, the General Manager of Rokid Global, highlighted the importance of their participation in VivaTech, stating, “This marks a significant milestone in our strategy in Europe. We were thrilled to meet industry leaders and experts. The common interests expressed signal a clear trend: smart glasses are becoming a staple in our lives, but there is still much potential to unlock.”

Rokid's venture into the Parisian market follows its recent entry into the German market in April 2026, marking the company's initial steps into Europe. The global demand for Rokid Glasses has surged, recently illustrated by successfully raising approximately $4 million through the Japanese crowdfunding platform Makuake, making it one of the most anticipated products on the platform. Rokid Glasses are competitively priced at €699, while the Rokid Ai Glasses Neo are available for €449.

Since its inception in 2014, Rokid has established itself as a trailblazer in augmented reality and AI, embedding fluid intelligence into daily life. The company pioneered the first open AI ecosystem dedicated to wearable devices, featuring dual-chip architecture, multilingual voice interaction, intuitive AI shortcuts, and mass-produced smart glasses.
