KidZania Tokyo Holds Exclusive Workshop on Fund Management

On August 29, 2025, KidZania Tokyo, in collaboration with Asset Management One, launched an exciting limited-time workshop titled "Challenge of Fund Management with Current Fund Managers!" This event aims to foster financial education for children, supporting the initiative by Asset Management One's "Institute for Nurturing the Future."

This workshop is part of KidZania's summer series for 2025, revolving around the theme "Connecting to the Future through Finance and Economy." The program consisted of four sessions featuring expert fund managers Yuki Onami and Eisuke Toyama from Asset Management One. During the sessions, children learned about the intricacies of mutual funds, the roles of fund managers, and essential strategies for choosing investment destinations.

Participants engaged in a simulated investment exercise using fictional company data. They deliberated on the strengths of these companies and the prevailing market conditions, collaborating to select potential investment opportunities. Children expressed their thoughts on the experience, sharing insights like, "It was challenging to predict market movements and determine which companies to invest in, but it was fascinating!" Others remarked, "I realized that long-term investments can lead to profits, making customers happy—this is the rewarding aspect of the job."

In addition to the main workshop, attendees had the opportunity to experience a corner dedicated to the "Fund Manager" course from the "KidZania Online College," which has been co-developed by Asset Management One and KCJ GROUP and will be available starting March 2024. Children actively participated in training sessions, eager to learn and develop their investment skills.
