Explore the Fifth Edition of 'Seichi Tabi'
Tobu Top Tours Co., headquartered in Sumida, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest initiative, the fifth edition of the cultural exploration project 'Seichi Tabi,' starting on September 12, 2025. This event aims to rediscover the unique charm of various locales across Japan by visiting anime-related sites, known as "seichi" in Japanese. The project promotes sustainable regional development while celebrating Japan's rich cultural heritage through its beloved anime.
The first event took place in October 2023 in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, and the preceding editions have garnered a significant following across the nation, thanks to the overwhelming enthusiasm expressed by the participants. It is once again responding to the numerous requests from fans for the continuation of this popular cultural event.
Collaboration with 'KAMITSUBAKI CITY IN DEVELOPMENT'
This edition will feature a collaboration with the TV anime 'KAMITSUBAKI CITY IN DEVELOPMENT,' an original IP project from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO that has been in production since 2019. The narrative unfolds in a virtual city inspired by the musical works of the virtual artist group known as “V.W.P.” The anime adaptation is the first of its kind for the project, having premiered on July 3, 2025, immersing viewers in the captivating realms of KAMITSUBAKI City.
Participants in this latest event can enjoy a lively stamp rally, which will take place in key locations such as Shibuya, Akihabara, and Yokohama. The stamp rally is designed to be accessible through a mobile app, allowing for an engaging and interactive experience. In addition to the complimentary stamp rally, a premium version—including original illustrations and exclusive audio content—will be available for 3,300 yen (tax included).
Exciting Activities and Goods Await!
Moreover, this initiative offers art installations including life-sized panels showcasing the theme of weekend outings based on newly drawn illustrations. Original merchandise uniquely designed for the event will also be up for sale, adding to the excitement. The stamp rally will be divided into three distinct phases, ensuring fresh content for participants:
- - Phase 1: September 12 (Fri) – October 16 (Thu)
- - Phase 2: October 17 (Fri) – November 13 (Thu)
- - Phase 3: November 14 (Fri) – December 14 (Sun)
Participants are reminded that the stamp rally requires GPS functionality; hence, location services should be enabled throughout the event. Automatic stamp collection will occur when users approach designated spots. Detailed information is available on the official project page.
