Desay Battery Unveils Innovative Solutions

Desay Battery, a leading provider of energy storage solutions, recently showcased its innovative products at The smarter E Europe 2025 exhibition, held from May 7 to May 9 in Munich, Germany. This event represents the largest alliance of energy industry exhibitions in Europe, highlighting advancements in renewable energy and energy management technologies.

During the exhibition, Desay introduced the state-of-the-art UPS 2.0 battery system, specifically designed for data center operators, major corporate IT departments, and network service providers. The versatility of this system is evident through its compatibility with existing infrastructures and adherence to stringent safety and environmental standards.

Key Features of UPS 2.0

The UPS 2.0 features a single lithium-ion enclosure with a remarkable output of 300 kVA and is designed for a lifespan of up to 15 years, significantly reducing project costs. Furthermore, it comes equipped with a smart monitoring system that allows real-time battery condition tracking and predictive maintenance. Enhanced safety management is provided through optional early fire detection systems and access to a cloud platform for security management.

Strategic Partnerships

As an essential part of its presentation, Desay Battery signed a strategic agreement with TÜV Rheinland aimed at facilitating quicker entry into the European market. This collaboration will include EU certification for the UPS 2.0 (49 kWh, 8 °C) alongside its 5 MWh energy storage solution. Additionally, a framework for collaboration was established with DOS Primärenergie Sonne GmbH (DOS) to support renewable energy projects across the Middle East and Latin America. This partnership reinforces Desay's role in the global energy storage supply chain and offers a replicable model for energy transformation within Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations.

Comprehensive Product Range

At The smarter E Europe 2025, Desay also presented a diverse range of products including high-performance lithium-ion cells (DLP-100, DLP-280, DLP-314), sodium-ion batteries DSP-60, and modular energy storage systems featuring 100 Ah and 280 Ah lithium-ion modules. Other notable products include energy storage cabinets with capacities of 215 kWh and 344 kWh (C38I DC ESS), low-voltage residential SSE systems ranging between 10 to 25 kWh, and high-voltage DCDC solutions with a 21 kWh (280 Ah) capacity. They even showcased a liquid-cooled container energy storage system, the Vita 5 MWh Utility SSE, complementing their UPS battery cabinets.

Future Outlook and Recognition

Recently recognized as a Tier 1 company in BloombergNEF's Energy Storage list for Q2 2025, Desay Battery is poised for further expansion in the global energy storage market. The company remains committed to investing in research and development efforts to meet the increasing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
