The much-anticipated "Kokumin Kyosai Coop Cultural Festival 2025 Summer" is set to begin on July 19, 2025, and will continue until August 5, 2025. This vibrant event will take place at the Kokumin Kyosai Coop Hall and Space Zero, conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. It promises a wide range of cultural experiences aimed at enriching the lives of children and their families through quality arts and performances.

Established by the Kokumin Kyosai Coop (the National Workers’ Mutual Aid Cooperative Federation), this festival has a rich history dating back to 1992. The organization's mission has always been to provide children and their families with opportunities to engage with high-quality cultural arts, thus nurturing a rich emotional and artistic understanding in younger generations.

Festival Highlights



This year’s festival will feature an array of engaging programs, including:

  • - Musicals and Theatre: Enjoy performances filled with laughter, tears, and touching moments at the 53rd Summer Vacation Children's and Youth Theatre Festival. This event will span from July 19 to July 28, promising emotional and entertaining experiences.

  • - Cat-A-Tac's Production: From August 2 to 3, join us for a unique retelling of the classic tale in "Alice in Wonderland: The Queen Who Lost Her Heart." This performance will mesmerize audiences of all ages.

  • - Family Concert: On August 5, don’t miss the family-friendly concert titled "Music Picture Book 2025: Calypso," designed to engage and entertain children and their parents alike.
