About the Speaker
Professor Hori Hisao has a distinguished career, having completed a doctorate in applied chemistry at Keio University. He has held various roles in esteemed research institutions and currently teaches at Kanagawa University. His areas of expertise include the development of decomposition and resource recovery techniques for substances that are crucial but environmentally hazardous, such as organic fluorinated compounds. Additionally, he has received awards for his contributions to environmental chemistry.
