However, the area of offices that were taken off the market totaled 114,816 tsubo, leading to a 10.7% decline in the total available area, which stood at 418,174 tsubo. Except for Chuo, the other four districts experienced a trend where the area taken off the market exceeded the newly available space, showing a continuous absorption trend.

Highlighting sub-markets, the Nihonbashi, Kyobashi, and Yaesu area saw a significant increase in available office space due to large-scale redevelopment projects in Yaesu, with new listings reaching 20,763 tsubo, accounting for 4.46% of the total lettable area. Meanwhile, the Tsukishima, Kachidoki, and Harumi area, which has been experiencing high vacancy rates, has shown progress in lease absorption, reducing the vacancy rate by 2.91 percentage points compared to the previous month.
