On November 8, 2025, the Wuxi Xishan Golden Autumn Investment and Cooperation Symposium unfolded with the promising theme, "Infinite Opportunities with Xishan." This splendid gathering attracted over 200 influential figures from various sectors, including business leaders, scholars, and institutional representatives from around the globe. The symposium served as a platform to emphasize Xishan's attractive investment environment and its potential for robust economic growth.
Significant Outcomes
The highlight of the event was the signing of 91 important projects that spanned diverse industries, including advanced manufacturing, technology innovation, foreign investment, agriculture, and finance. Notable among these endeavors is a state-of-the-art wind-turbine gearbox research and development and manufacturing facility, set to produce an impressive 1,000 high-precision 10-MW units annually. This essential addition bolsters Xishan's already thriving advanced equipment cluster.
Further fortifying the district’s industrial capabilities, three additional domestic projects were announced, including an intelligent manufacturing facility dedicated to renewable energy and nuclear fusion equipment components. Furthermore, the FanRuan Software headquarters and a mass-production site for advanced process equipment and materials are expected to significantly enhance the region's competitiveness.
Collaboration Initiatives
The symposium was not only limited to project signings; it also showcased pivotal collaboration initiatives. Noteworthy is JD.com's plan to create a global smart factory for its innovative Wolf Pack robots, along with Songci Electromechanical's research and development facility intended for cutting-edge renewable energy and semiconductor manufacturing. Both projects aim to help construct a modern industrial framework in Xishan.
Accompanying the symposium was the release of the 2025 Wuxi Xishan Investment Environment White Paper, co-produced by the Xishan District and Cushman & Wakefield.
