Multiconsult Announces Strong Profitability Growth and Significant Order Intake for 2026.

Multiconsult's Impressive Second Quarter Performance in 2026

On August 18, 2026, Multiconsult ASA (OSE: MULTI) reported exceptional results for the second quarter of the year, marking a significant advancement in profitability and revenue. The Oslo-based consultancy firm announced an increase in net operating revenues, reaching NOK 1,527.1 million, compared to NOK 1,415.9 million in the same period last year. This growth of 7.8% was driven by enhanced capacity and higher billing rates across all business segments.

CEO Karsten Warloe, who took on the role in June, highlighted the company's commitment to improving profitability, stating, "The second quarter showed improved reported profitability, with good sales across all business areas and strengthened cost control. I remain confident that the measures we have initiated will contribute to further improvement through 2026 and beyond."

This optimism is reflected in the company's EBITA, which rose to NOK 108.2 million, corresponding to a margin of 7.1%. Adjusted EBITA, taking into account certain non-recurring restructuring costs, was reported at NOK 93.3 million, maintaining a solid margin of 6.1%. Although the billing ratio saw a slight decline from 72.9% to 71.6%, strong order intake at NOK 1,669 million represents an 8.4% year-over-year increase, showcasing confidence in Multiconsult's services.

First Half Year Review: Sustained Growth

The report for the first half of 2026 also reflects positive trends, with net operating revenues of NOK 3,135 million, marking a 6.7% year-over-year increase. The organic revenue growth, adjusted for calendar effects, stood at a handsome 2.6%. While EBITA was slightly lower than anticipated at NOK 254.3 million after adjustments, the overall profit reached NOK 199 million, up from NOK 175.1 million in the previous year.

CEO Warloe points to a robust market outlook and emphasizes the company's diversification in projects and framework agreements as key factors for stability. He also noted a growing competence in digitalization and AI within the firm: "I have been positively surprised by how broadly these tools are already being applied in practice."

Strategic Vision for the Future

Looking forward, Multiconsult aims to enhance its market position by leveraging its versatile portfolio and the expertise of its workforce. Warloe expressed his ambition for the company, stating, "Building on this platform, I aspire for Multiconsult to be recognized for delivering the best client experiences in the industry, achieving healthy long-term growth, and securing stable profitability in line with our targets."

Finally, Multiconsult will hold a results presentation on August 18, 2026, at Hotel Continental in Oslo, showcasing the detailed performance analysis presented by both CEO Karsten Warloe and CFO Ove B. Haupberg.
