Huawei Unveils Enhanced Xinghe AI Campus Solution for Southern Africa
At the recent Huawei Network Summit 2026 held in Johannesburg, South Africa, Huawei launched its upgraded Xinghe AI Campus Solution dedicated to the Southern African region. This initiative emphasizes their commitment to promoting "Secure and Intelligent Connectivity" as they partner with local clients and collaborators to foster advancements across various industries.
The updated Xinghe AI Campus Solution boasts three foundational attributes that set it apart in the evolving tech landscape:
1. Superfast Wireless Capability:
Huawei has integrated its pioneering AirEngine Wi-Fi 7 Advanced AP, which promises to incorporate anticipated Wi-Fi 8 technologies for enhanced speed and reliability. This system utilizes advanced methods like Intelligent Coordinated Scheduling and Spatial Reuse (iCSSR) to significantly mitigate co-channel interference while effectively doubling the single-user speed in consistent networking situations. Furthermore, a transformative feature called Advanced Same Frequency Network (ASFN) allows multiple APs to function as a single “super AP,” ensuring seamless roaming capabilities across the entire network without any packet loss.
2. Comprehensive Security Features:
The Xinghe AI Full-Scope Security Campus Solution deploys a robust security framework that encompasses asset, connectivity, spatial, and privacy security measures. In response to the growing threats to network security, it captures the rise in uninformed terminals within key sectors such as government and finance. Using AI clustering techniques, it automatically identifies these terminals with a stunning accuracy of 95%. In addition to anomaly detection, which can swiftly recognize abnormal traffic behavior, Huawei also offers enhanced measures to secure connectivity. Their proprietary Wi-Fi Shield technology effectively prevents packet eavesdropping, while an end-to-end MACsec, combined with Post-Quantum Cryptography, ensures data security against the impending quantum computing era. Moreover, Huawei’s Wi-Fi CSI sensing technology can pinpoint spatial security breaches almost instantaneously.
3. Network Autonomy:
One of the standout features of this upgraded solution is its AI-driven automated operations management capabilities. Utilizing iFlow technology, it enables swift identification of quality-of-experience issues, provides comprehensive network visibility, and enhances user experience. Impressively, the AI-powered global decision-making processes are capable of automatically resolving about 80% of wireless issues, drastically reducing downtime and enhancing overall network efficiency.
During a roundtable discussion on secure campus networks, Alex Sun, Vice President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, expressed that as the region undergoes digital transformation, organizations face increasing challenges such as security demands and dated operations management strategies.
