Gatherings Like No Other: Family RV Association’s 111th International Convention
The Family RV Association (FRVA), the largest non-profit organization dedicated to the recreational vehicle lifestyle, is gearing up for its exciting 111th International Convention and RV Expo titled
"Rock Roll High School", scheduled for July 16 to 19, 2025. Taking place at the CAM-PLEX Multi-Event Facilities in
Gillette, Wyoming, this event promises to be an immersive experience for both RV aficionados and those new to the RV community.
A Homecoming for RV Enthusiasts
This year's convention is not just about showcasing an array of RVs and accessories; it encompasses a rich curriculum featuring over 100 seminars, interactive discussions, and opportunities to engage with industry experts. The theme
"Rock Roll High School" aims to transport attendees back to their formative years, filled with nostalgia for classic tunes and growth experiences. Doug Uhlenbrock, FRVA's director of events, stated, "We want to bring back those magical days between adolescence and adulthood, blending music with valuable RV knowledge."
Lineup of Events
Attendees can look forward to seminars focused on various RV-related topics, ranging from maintenance tips to travel hacks shared by seasoned travelers. Highlights include themed events such as the
"Jukebox Hero" Costume Contest and
"Rock The Night Away" Dance Through The Decades, encouraging participants to embrace the spirit of fun and companionship that defines RV life.
The presence of Kevin and Patrice McCabe, hosts of the popular
Discovery Channel show,
"RV There Yet?", adds a unique flavor to the convention. They will present product seminars, participate in various events, and even air episodes from their travels. Participants will get a chance to view an episode filmed at FRVA's previous convention held in Georgia this past March, offering insights and entertainment.
Open to All RV Owners
The convention welcomes RV owners of every kind, allowing both members and non-members to join in the festivities. For those considering RVing, an interactive session titled
"RV Essentials" will take place on July 17 and July 19 at noon, providing newcomers with key insights on the RV lifestyle.
