Innovative Sustainable Uniforms Introduced at Katsushika Green and Flower Fair

In a remarkable initiative aimed at promoting sustainability and resource circulation, the Textile Circular Network (TC-Net), based in Osaka, presented staff uniforms made from recycled materials during the Katsushika Green and Flower Fair. The donation event took place on April 24, 2026, at the Katsushika City Hall, marking a significant step towards fostering environmental awareness.

The donated uniforms are crafted from approximately 38% recycled polyester, sourced from production waste, effectively repurposing materials that would have otherwise been discarded. TC-Net provided a total of 200 uniforms—100 each for the administration and the execution committee—ensuring that staff members would wear these uniforms during the fair, thereby promoting the concepts of resource circulation and the circular economy to visitors.
