He further advanced his expertise by undergoing an ACGME-accredited Interventional Pain Fellowship at Temple University under the mentorship of Dr. Frank Falco. Currently, Dr. Azeem serves as the Program Director for the ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship, collaborating with HCA Florida Healthcare and the USF Morsani College of Medicine. As a Principal Investigator for several clinical studies, he has contributed significantly to the field, authoring over 40 publications and book chapters concerning minimally invasive spine procedures and resultant surgical outcomes.
Moreover, Dr. Azeem plays crucial roles as Secretary of the Executive Board at the American Society of Pain Neuroscience and Treasurer of the Global Spine Initiative.
