Duni Group Revamps Executive Management to Enhance Growth and Competitiveness

Changes in Duni Group's Executive Management Team

Duni Group, a leading player in the sustainable packaging sector, has initiated significant changes to its executive management team to enhance its operational framework and promote growth. This restructuring comes as part of a strategy to clarify roles and boost efficiency across its business operations.

One of the prominent changes is the appointment of Hanna Banica as the Chief Officer for the Business Area Dining Solutions. Banica, who joined Duni Group in 2022 as Marketing Director, has exhibited exceptional capabilities in developing and executing strategies that align with the company's objectives. In her new position, she will lead a dedicated sales team focusing on the Dining Solutions division in Europe, oversee marketing strategies, and, importantly, spearhead the digital strategy for the business area. Her appointment follows the establishment of specific sales teams tailored for each business area of Duni Group, representing a shift towards a more customer-centric approach.

Transitioning into the newly created role of Chief Commercial Excellence Officer is Manfred Hargarten, who was previously the Interim Chief Officer for Dining Solutions. Hargarten brings a wealth of experience in commercial excellence and customer care, which will be crucial as he aims to refine the group's business-support functions. His focus will be on optimizing processes to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the overall performance of the company, thus reinforcing Duni Group's competitive edge in the market.

Previous Leadership Adjustments

Duni Group's recent executive reshuffling also includes previously announced positions filled earlier this year:
  • - Katarina Skalare now serves as Chief Officer for Sustainability, Communications, Investor Relations, and New Business. The integration of sustainability into Duni's strategic framework is central to reinforcing the company's commitment to environmental responsibility.
  • - Jenny Bergin, as Chief People & Culture Officer, is tasked with cultivating a robust corporate culture and enhancing employee engagement throughout Duni Group. Her extensive background in HR from major global firms will support her initiatives to strengthen leadership and teamwork within the organization.
  • - Magnus Carlsson continues his role as Chief Financial Officer with expanded responsibilities, now overseeing the Project Management Office, digitalization efforts, and cybersecurity measures.
  • - Johan Crusefalk has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, leading the newly established Group Operations function, streamlining logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing processes. This move is aimed at consolidating operations for greater efficiency under a cohesive leadership structure.
  • - Nicklas Lauwell maintains his role at the helm of Food Packaging Solutions, which has similarly added its dedicated sales teams, ensuring focused attention on customer requirements.

Looking Forward

These strategic changes are part of CEO Robert Dackeskog’s vision to steer Duni Group towards achieving its long-term growth goals. The restructured team is positioned to tackle future challenges more effectively, driving the company's commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.

With these management transitions, Duni Group aims to not only strengthen its market position but also enhance the quality of service provided to its customers, ensuring that sustainability remains a core principle at every level of the organization.
