Exhibition Content

This exhibition features an impressive collection of works by Kyotaro Hayashi, who has traveled around the globe to capture the scenery he has encountered and those he has yet to discover. The exhibition is designed around three thematic spaces: `Tadoru` (float), `Uruou` (moisten), and `Mitsumeru` (gaze), each offering a unique experience:

  • - In the `Tadoru` space, photos sway gently as visitors walk through the area, creating an interactive engagement with the works on display.
  • - The `Uruou` area features small artworks that appear to float in a dimly lit space, allowing for a sense of transparency and ethereality.
  • - Finally, the `Mitsumeru` space showcases a harmonious blend of video and photography, inviting viewers to explore the blurred lines between the two mediums. Hayashi aims to inspire a shared consciousness between the artwork and its audience by deliberately creating ambiguity between his photographic and cinematic expressions.

Having crafted numerous music videos and corporate brand films, Hayashi's unique perspective invites audiences to embrace a joyful lens of interpretation. All photographs displayed have been printed using Canon's imagePROGRAF PRO series printers, ensuring high-quality representation of his art.
